Competition Terms and Conditions

1. Contest Overview

1.1. The SmarterQueue Masterclass Contest ("Contest") is organized by SmarterQueue ("Organizer"). The Contest is intended to promote the launch of SmarterQueue Masterclasses and is open to individuals who follow the rules as stated herein.

1.2. By participating in this Contest, each participant ("Participant") agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

 

2. Eligibility

2.1. The Contest is open to all individuals aged 18 years or older at the time of entry, except employees of SmarterQueue, their immediate families, and anyone otherwise connected with the organization or judging of the Contest.

2.2. Participants must have an active Instagram and/or LinkedIn account to enter.

2.3. No purchase is necessary to enter the Contest.

 

3. Contest Period

3.1. The Contest begins on Tuesday 3rd September 2024 until Tuesday 17th September 2024, 12pm CST ("Contest Period"). Entries received after the Contest Period will not be considered.

 

4. How to Enter

4.1. To enter the Contest, Participants must:

Instagram: Create an Instagram post or Reel that highlights insights gained from any SmarterQueue Masterclass, use the hashtag #SmarterQueueMasterclass, and tag @SmarterQueue in the post. Instagram Stories are not considered as valid entries but may be used to drive engagement to the post or Reel.

LinkedIn: Write a post, create a video, or publish an article on LinkedIn detailing how a SmarterQueue Masterclass has impacted the Participant's social media strategy or business. The post must include the hashtag #SmarterQueueMasterclass and tag @SmarterQueue.

4.2. Entries are unlimited; however, Participants are encouraged to focus on quality over quantity. The key metric for winning is the number of shares the entry receives.

4.3. Negative Sentiment: Entries that express negative sentiment or criticism towards SmarterQueue or its services will not be considered for the Contest. The purpose of this Contest is to help people improve their social media strategies, not to serve as a platform for negative feedback. If Participants have feedback about the Contest or SmarterQueue, they are encouraged to email us directly at partners@smarterqueue.com.

4.4. Entries that do not comply with these requirements or the platform’s guidelines will be disqualified.

 

5. Winner Selection

5.1. The winner will be the Participant whose entry receives the highest number of shares across all valid entries submitted during the Contest Period.

5.2. The Organizer will verify the authenticity of shares. Fake or purchased shares will lead to disqualification.

5.3. In the event of a tie, the Organizer reserves the right to select the winner based on additional criteria, including but not limited to engagement quality (likes, comments).

5.4. The winner will be notified via direct message on the platform where their winning entry was posted within [number] days of the Contest end date. The winner must respond within [number] days to claim their prize, failing which the Organizer reserves the right to select an alternate winner.

 

6. Prizes

6.1. The prize for the Contest is as follows:

Co-Host a SmarterQueue Masterclass.
Feature an ethical offer in the SmarterQueue newsletter, reaching over 30,000 subscribers.
Receive a 30% discount on any SmarterQueue plan for one year.

6.2. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other alternatives.

6.3. The Organizer reserves the right to substitute the prize with another of equivalent value if the original prize is unavailable.

 

7. Use of Entries

7.1. By entering the Contest, Participants grant the Organizer a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute their entry (including any accompanying text, images, or videos) for promotional and marketing purposes.

7.2. The Organizer may use the winning entry and other submissions in promotional materials, including social media, websites, and newsletters.

 

8. General Conditions

8.1. The Organizer reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Contest if necessary, including but not limited to technical issues, fraud, or any other factors beyond the Organizer’s control.

8.2. The Organizer’s decision regarding any aspect of the Contest is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.

8.3. By participating in the Contest, Participants agree to release and hold harmless the Organizer, its affiliates, employees, and agents from any and all liability, loss, or damage arising from or in connection with the Contest or the awarding, receipt, and/or use or misuse of any prize.

8.4. Participants are responsible for ensuring that their entries comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those relating to intellectual property rights. The Organizer assumes no responsibility for any claims arising from third-party rights infringement.

 

9. Privacy

9.1. Any personal information provided in connection with the Contest will be used in accordance with the Organizer’s Privacy Policy.

9.2. Participants agree that the Organizer may collect, use, and disclose their personal information to administer the Contest and for related marketing purposes.

 

10. Governing Law

10.1. These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Jurisdiction]. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with the Contest will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [Jurisdiction].
